Malaysian Youth Council paid for same jobs multiple times
The Auditor-General’s Department found that the Malaysian Youth Council (MBM) made multiple payments for the same job more than once.
In its 2012 report, it found that the MBM made between two and three payments for the same job on six different occasions, and labelled these "improper payments". The payments varied between RM26,500 and RM41,000, totaling RM430,000. MBM is a youth NGO which receives aid from the Youth and Sports Department.
