Financial Cost

Tajuddin is a major shareholder in Detik Utuh. Detik Utuh's partner in the construction of the UiTM Tapah campus, Crest Builder Holdings Berhad, estimated the construction cost to be RM285.89 million. The concession agreement of the construction project, a joint venture between Detik Utuh, Crest Builder Holdings Berhad, and (the then) Higher Education Ministry, approximated RM 1.3 billion, reportedly contained hidden costs which inflated the price, all of which was borne by the federal government. True cost of the corruption is at present unknown.
